Not far from Blaye (magnificent fortress), the Campugnan region enjoys a very special, if not ideal, climate. Thanks to winds blowing in off the sea, the Gironde enjoys a particularly mild climate which favours the production of the best wines, especially the Premières Côtes de Blaye AOC.
• The vineyard mainly comprises Merlot, Cabernet and Malbec vines.
• It is open to the South-East and South-West, and therefore very sunny.
• The soil is argilo-calcareous in nature.
